Abby Ferenz, AMFT
Hi, I'm Abby, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 151736). I believe that when we better understand ourselves, we can communicate more clearly, build healthier relationships, and live more authentically. Whether you're navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can be a place to slow down, gain insight, and create meaningful change.
I enjoy working with adolescents/teens, individuals, and couples who want to strengthen communication, build healthier relationship patterns, and better understand themselves. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow at a pace that feels right for you.
I completed my Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling from Point Loma Nazarene University. My approach is collaborative, holistic, and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, CBT, and DBT while incorporating somatic techniques to support nervous system regulation. I believe healing happens when we care for both the mind and body and take time to understand the experiences that have shaped us.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time in nature, traveling, and engaging in forms of healthy movement. I value experiencing different cultures and backgrounds, which continues to deepen my curiosity and appreciation for the unique stories each person holds.
