Julie Smith, APCC

Hi, I’m Julie. I’m an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor offering therapy both in-person and via telehealth. I live in Encinitas with my three kids and our cat, Pepper. In my free time, you can find me cheering on one of my kids at a game, walking with a friend, reading, swimming, enjoying family time, or trying out a new restaurant or recipe.

I became a therapist after experiencing meaningful healing through my own therapeutic journey. I believe in the power of therapy to bring clarity, freedom, and hope — and I’m honored to now support others on their path toward healing.

I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University and have specialized training in grief and loss, EMDR, and Restoration Therapy. I’ve worked with clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, infertility, and relationship challenges.

I consider the therapy room a sacred space and feel privileged to partner with clients as they explore how their past may be impacting their present. I see vulnerability as a strength and work to create a safe, compassionate environment where clients can grow at their own pace. Together, we’ll determine a path forward that supports deeper insight, healing, and lasting change.
