Brooke Reeves, Therapist Trainee
Hi! I’m Brooke Reeves, and I am currently in training to become a professional counselor. In addition to working in the mental health field, I am passionate about creative outlets such as photography and making pottery. I also love camping, road trips, reading, being at the beach, and all things outdoors!
I have always had a deep love for hearing people’s stories, which led me to understand the healing power of connection. After receiving my BA in Psychology, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in counseling where I could come alongside others on their journey and offer support. I approach counseling with warmth, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique life experience. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, collaborative, and empowering. As a student counseling trainee, I am practicing under the direct supervision of my site supervisor and my university supervisor, who are Licensed Clinical Counselors.
For the past five years I have been a preschool teacher here in Orange County. I have always felt a special connection to children and knew from a young age that I would have a career working with them. I believe in the power of play and creativity to help young people express themselves and grow. I work on navigating big emotions, life changes, anxiety, and challenges at home or school. While I plan to specialize with children, I am passionate about working with teenagers and young adults as well. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where each individual feels seen, heard, empowered, and met at their level.
I look forward to connecting with you!
